MOJO MONDAY WK 119

When I saw this week's Mojo Monday sketch I just had to have a go. I've used one of me fave Tilda's coloured with Polychromos, cut her out and mounted her onto the card with 3D foam pad's.The paper's are also Magnolia...they are just gorgeous,shall def be getting more of these when I run out :). Ribbon is from Poppicrafts,Sentiment and flower are Papermania CCSR, I have used various nestabilities and ofcourse a little handstitching.

PTW - SKETCH # 31

Evening, thought I'd have a go at this week's PTW's sketch.The image is C.C Designs-swiss pixies- Nora coloured with Polychromo's which I have cut out and mounted onto the card with 3D foam pad's, I love doing this as i feel it always make's the image really pop from the card. The paper's are doodlebug from provocraft... don't think you can get them anymore - sorry! The sentiment is craftwork card's and I finished the card with some Papermania adhesive black pearls.Hope you like and thanks for looking xx

NOT A CHRISTMAS CARD!!!

Morning!Thought I'd share a card with you today that i made a few week's ago just to add to my stash.I have used Heidi coloured with Polychromos,Paper's are DCWV spring stack from last year,flower's are an x-cut punch,adhesive pearls are papermania,sentiment is craftwork card's and ribbon is from poppicrafts. I also used my MS punch and ofcourse no card of mine is complete without my handstitching :)
The boy's break up tommorrow...which means i'm going to be spending the next week being asked how many day's until christmas mum? oh joy lol

Hello again!As promised here's some more of the card's I was asked to make. These were made with a fab set of Basic Grey clear stamps I bought last year and never used lol.Shall def use them more next year tho cuz they're gorgeous to work with.The paper's are DCWV they are also last year's lol.It seems to be a pattern with me...I have to have things a while before i can bring myself to use them lol.Hope you're all having a relaxing sunday?I am! :)

FOREVER FRIENDS OVERLOAD!!!

Hi I was asked to make some christmas card's rather alot actually lol... so thought i'd put the forever friend's christmas stash i'd bought a while ago to good use. JUST MAGNOLIA WK 31

Evening all... well as I said in a previous post ive been playing with some of my new christmas Magnolia stamps and boy are they cute!!!I just love colouring these sweeties. And when I saw Mina's fab sketch over st JM I just had to have a go!I've used cutie santa Edwin and perched him on the fab fireplace image.I'm really into masking atm and distressing too lol.And these MME paper's are perfect for this i think. I've used my fave colour medium polychromos to colour my image and used old paper distress ink for the background as i felt the white was too harsh for the card.The buttons are Papermania,sentiment is from a PB clear set and ofcourse no card of mine is complete without me handstitching lol.Well i'm off to watch I'm a Celeb...love this programme :)

CCT #86 - GLITTER ME SILLY!

Evening bloggers!Hope you've all had a lovely weekend?I thought i'd share the card my cousin asked me to make for his friend who is a big Supernatural fan and Sam is her fave(he's the one at the front). I was'nt sure what to do at first so I looked on the internet for images and picked this one and used the colour's in it as inspiration for the rest of my card. I used All Dressed Up DCWV paper's, a sizzix swirl die,craftwork card's candy, Papermania CCSR sentiment, Papermania alpha stickers and circle nesties. Well she loved it thankfully and because there is glitter on the paper i'm entering it into this week's CCT challenge.

GDT CARD FOR ANYONE FOR ANYA!

Hi here's my GDT card for this week's AFA challenge.They have a recipe challenge for you this week which is 3 pieces of paper or card, 2 buttons and 1 bow.

And they have a fab prize from Tracy at Dies to die for which is Birthday anya so why not pop over HERE and check out the other fab Dt creations on show.

I have used Anya from the Miss Anya Dressy set and coloured her with polychromos. I also used paper's from the DCWV LA CREME stack which is absolutely gorgeous by the way and goes perfectly with these anya's i think.The buttons are papermania and the bow is a sizzix die which i embossed with my swiss dots embossing folder and ofcourse a card of mine would'nt be complete without a bit of handstitching lol.

CCT # 85 - PRIMARY COLOURS! AND QUIXOTIC CHALLENGE #1!

This week over at CCT they want to see you the Primary colours...Red,Blue and Yellow on your card's.So when the postie dropped my package from Quixotic Paperie through the letter box today I just had to join in, as the paper's from the Cosmo cricket Early Bird pad were perfect for this challenge.I'm also entering this card into the Quixotic challenge which is 'Birthdays'. I've used one of my fave cutie Tilda's...i love colouring her.I'm really pleased with this card as ive been struggling to make a decent card lately as my mojo had gone completely and felt like it was never coming back!!! :(

We're taking the boys to a firework display tonight...i'm hoping the weather is kind to us and the rain holds off unlike last year!It would'nt be so bad but when you have to look up to see the fireworks and the rain's pouring on your face and in your eyes, it kind of spoils the experience lol.Oh well atleast i can stay warm by the lovely big fire :)

TMITA GDT CARD "HARVEST GEESE"

This week's TMITA challenge is brought to us by Curt.He wants us to use the image Nina has provided "Harvest Geese" and use pop dots of foam squares to make a 3-D element on your project "pop". I used to 3D foam squares to make my craftwork card's candy "pop" in the corners of the card.I really enjoyed colouring this image and am pleased with how it turned out. I think it would look lovely framed and given a s a gift.

TMITA GDT CARD

Leigh Anne brings us this weeks challenge which is to use the "free" image Nina has provided "Spooktacular Pumpkin" and then she wants us to use some 3D colouring elements like liquid applique,flowersoft,glitter and/or stickles,crackle,liquid glaze,fun flock etc. I chose to use flocking on his hat,eyes and mouth.

TMITA - GDT CARD

Hello here's my GDT card for this week's TMITA (There's magic in the air) challenge. This week's free image is called "Mouse Candy". And this week's challenge has been set by Nilla and she would like to see you use the image "Mouse Candy" provided by Nina and use the colour's orange,black and one other colour of your choice.

I decided to use GREEN as my other colour and kept the card quite simple as I thougt the image didn't need much embellishing.I used Hocus Pocus Coredinations cardstock,embossed it and sanded it to show the other colour through and finished it with some orange sheer ribbon.

Well this is a first for me I have actually managed to amke a card that combines 3 challenges lol.

The first is ANYONE FOR ANYA which is to use funky flower's.The paper's ive used are full of flower's but you can't see them as they're all covered up lol which you will see it on the inside of the card.

The second is PAPERTAKE WEEKLY which is a fab sketch love Dawny's sketches always so much fun to work with!

The third is the CREATIVE CARD CREW CHALLENGE which is to decorate the inside of your card which i try to do in all of my card's as it just finishes the card for me.

Hi just a quick post while the adverts are on cuz ive got to get back to me X factor lol

This card is for the Stamp something challenge and this week the theme is favourite embellishments.Well I have so many but my fave embellishment at the moment is punched flower's because you can match to your paper's exactly.I have actually used one of the new spellbinders nestabilties snowflake die's to create the flower's on this card along with an x-cut flower punch layered on top.
