STAMPIN' CHIC DT CARD - COLOUR CHALLENGE

Evening! Here's my DT card for this week's Stampin' chic challenge which is a colour challenge and we're asking you to use mainly white with a splas of colour. I've used the fab new stamps from Clare Curd's Signature Range... Retail Therapy.I've also used the fab CCSR Digi paper's and completed the card with my signature handstitching :)

JUST MAGNOLIA WK 31

Evening all... well as I said in a previous post ive been playing with some of my new christmas Magnolia stamps and boy are they cute!!!I just love colouring these sweeties. And when I saw Mina's fab sketch over st JM I just had to have a go!I've used cutie santa Edwin and perched him on the fab fireplace image.I'm really into masking atm and distressing too lol.And these MME paper's are perfect for this i think. I've used my fave colour medium polychromos to colour my image and used old paper distress ink for the background as i felt the white was too harsh for the card.The buttons are Papermania,sentiment is from a PB clear set and ofcourse no card of mine is complete without me handstitching lol.Well i'm off to watch I'm a Celeb...love this programme :)

CCT #86 - GLITTER ME SILLY!

Evening bloggers!Hope you've all had a lovely weekend?I thought i'd share the card my cousin asked me to make for his friend who is a big Supernatural fan and Sam is her fave(he's the one at the front). I was'nt sure what to do at first so I looked on the internet for images and picked this one and used the colour's in it as inspiration for the rest of my card. I used All Dressed Up DCWV paper's, a sizzix swirl die,craftwork card's candy, Papermania CCSR sentiment, Papermania alpha stickers and circle nesties. Well she loved it thankfully and because there is glitter on the paper i'm entering it into this week's CCT challenge.

GDT CARD FOR ANYONE FOR ANYA!

Hi here's my GDT card for this week's AFA challenge.They have a recipe challenge for you this week which is 3 pieces of paper or card, 2 buttons and 1 bow.

And they have a fab prize from Tracy at Dies to die for which is Birthday anya so why not pop over HERE and check out the other fab Dt creations on show.

I have used Anya from the Miss Anya Dressy set and coloured her with polychromos. I also used paper's from the DCWV LA CREME stack which is absolutely gorgeous by the way and goes perfectly with these anya's i think.The buttons are papermania and the bow is a sizzix die which i embossed with my swiss dots embossing folder and ofcourse a card of mine would'nt be complete without a bit of handstitching lol.

CCT # 85 - PRIMARY COLOURS! AND QUIXOTIC CHALLENGE #1!

This week over at CCT they want to see you the Primary colours...Red,Blue and Yellow on your card's.So when the postie dropped my package from Quixotic Paperie through the letter box today I just had to join in, as the paper's from the Cosmo cricket Early Bird pad were perfect for this challenge.I'm also entering this card into the Quixotic challenge which is 'Birthdays'. I've used one of my fave cutie Tilda's...i love colouring her.I'm really pleased with this card as ive been struggling to make a decent card lately as my mojo had gone completely and felt like it was never coming back!!! :(

We're taking the boys to a firework display tonight...i'm hoping the weather is kind to us and the rain holds off unlike last year!It would'nt be so bad but when you have to look up to see the fireworks and the rain's pouring on your face and in your eyes, it kind of spoils the experience lol.Oh well atleast i can stay warm by the lovely big fire :)
