CARD PATTERNS - SKETCH 56!

When I saw this week's Card Pattern's sketch. I just had to have a play.Loved the wavy line and wanted to give it a go.So I dug out my X-cut cutter that i've had for years and put it to good use.They're so handy and easy to use. The image is from Funkykits which ive had ages and thought it was about time it saw ink again! I have coloured it with Polychromos pencils and cut it out with a circle nestie. The paper's are Cosmo Cricket Material Girl, sentiment is Papermania CCSR,brad's are PM and Handstitching.

WHIFF OF JOY CHALLENGE - AN EASEL CARD!

Good Afternoon!Well the dinner's on so while that's cooking, I thought I'd pop on to show you my card for this week's Whiff of Joy challenge which is to make an Easel card. I love making these card's but for a change I decided to use my largest scalloped square nesties to make this card.This is the first time i've entered this challenge but it shall not be the last :)

How adoreable is Henry mouse!... had him since before xmas and this is only the second time I've used him!The yummy paper's are Doodlebug, ribbon is dovecraft,sentiment is craftwork cards and ofcourse some handstitching.

Well got me copy of New Moon today, so am off to watch it :)))))))))))))))))) Yep I'm a 'Twi' Fan!lol. Read all the book's which are absolutely fab and can't wait see Eclipse!!!

BASICGREY MEETS SKETCH SATURDAY!

Good Afternoon! Well we made the most of the sun today and have just got back from the park :)
Today's card is for two challenges. I have used Basicgreys theme which is 'Tutti Frutti' and combined it with Sketch Saturdays fab sketch. I've used one of my Tilda's coloured with Polychromos pencils, Basicgrey nook & pantry paper pad, ribbon from hobbycraft, Funkykits sentiment, MS border punch, bowmaker and Handstitching.

My bowmaker from joanna sheen(fab prices and service btw)arrived yesterday. Well my youngest was with me in my craft room when i opened it and wanted to know what it did. So i showed him and he was rather impressed lol and ofcourse wanted to make one too and make a card to put it on. So here is the card that my son Luke made which he's going to give to his Great Nan...bless him :)


Also just had to share a piccy of him as yesterday he lost his first tooth! He came running to me and said "Mom I need to brush my tooth!" I asked why? And he replied "Well the tooth fairy won't take it if its dirty!" lol How sweet is that? He has a real cheeky face and he's always making me laugh!Love you Lukey :) xx

TOTALLY GORJUSS GDT CARD - RIBBON!

Morning all on this wet and miserable saturday.Thanks to everyone who entered our 'sweet' challenge last week. It was fab visiting all your lovely blogs and seeing your 'sweet' creations :)

So onto this week's challenge which is to use ribbon on your creations. There's a fab prize from Crafters Companion,a £10 voucher to spend in their lovely shop :)

For my DT card I used one of the sweet fairies from LOTV coloured in with Polychromos pencils and teamed her with some gorgeous Cosmo Cricket Earth Love paper's, ribbon is from Poppicrafts, brad's are PM, sentiment is See D's and ofcourse some handstitching!

JUST MAGNOLIA WK47 MEETS FRIDAY SKETCHERS #94!

Evening!Me again,second post today!Thought I'd enter Just Magnolia's challenge which is to make an easel card as I have'nt made one for a while and I used Friday Sketchers fab sketch.

I used one of my fave Tilda's she's just too adoreable for word's and I have coloured her with Polychromos pencils. The paper's are DCWV Nana's nursery(girl) and La Creme, absolutely love both these stacks!To finish the card I added some card candy from craftwork cards,heart nestabilities, MS border punch, Papermania CSSR sentiment and LOTS of handstitching!

SIMON SAYS....ST. PATRICK'S DAY/A SPLASH OF GREEN!

Morning all!Simon says are celebrating St. Patrick's day and want to see our greens! So out came the BG Origins pad again!well to be honest I had'nt put it away lol sorry if you're bored of these seeing these paper's now, I promise my next card will use different paper's :)

I've also used Miss Anya a different one though coloured with Polychromos pencils,is'nt she just so pretty!I've added some yellow ribbon and a felt scalloped border fom PM,the brads are also PM and ofcourse some more handstitching :)

CREATE4FUN -WK11 - SKETCH!

Hello Bloggers! Hope you're all well?

I really enjoyed making yesterday's card and you seemed to like it too :)

So when I saw the fab sketch at Create4fun I just had to use the same image and paper's again.Image is Miss Anya coloured with Polychromos pencils,Paper's are Baiscgrey Origins,ribbon and lace are from stash,sentiment is Papermania, large rectangle nestabilities and some handstitching.

CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS - CHALLENGE 52 - WHITE,YELLOW & GREEN!

When I saw this week's challenge at Creative Inspirations I knew straight away which paper's I wanted to use. I love the colour's in the Origins pad and thought miss anya went perfect with them,not used her for a while so thought I'd show her some ink :). The gorgeous big white bow is from poppicrafts and ribbon is from hobbycraft.The sentiment is Papermania and the dew drops are from the glitterpot,MS punch and ofcourse some handstitching.

TOTALLY GORJUSS GDT CARD - CHALLENGE 21 - 'SWEET!'

Hi bloggers!This week's theme over on Totally Gorjuss is 'Sweet'.You can interpret this as you wish :)

I decided to go with a 'sweet' image and sentiment including the word 'sweet' for my DT card. I've not used this High Hopes image for a while so thought it was the perfect opportunity to ink her up. I've also used PM CCSR The Big One stack paper's and paper pieced her dress to match.Love this technique especially if you cant find the right shade in your colouring selection.Sentiment was from funkykits and ofcourse my famous handstitching lol.

There's a selection of paper's on offer this week for one lucky winner, so why don't you dig out something 'sweet' and make a card :)

MY DOCTOR PRESCRIBED...

...RETAIL THERAPY.

I was looking through the challenges to see if any took my fancy and I saw Papertake weekly's interesting sketch and Stamp Somethings 'Girly' theme so I thought I'd combine the two. I've had this mo manning stamp a while now and thought it was about time it saw ink! Once I'd nearly finished the card I started to look for an appropriate sentiment and I think this one fits the bill perfectly don't you?lol

The paper's are MME ,sentiment is from the Retail Therapy love clare curd clear stamp set,brad's are papermania,ribbon is from stash and ofcourse a little of my handstitching to finish :)

ALLSORTS CHALLENGE WK42 - JUST FOR MEN

Afternoon bloggers!Hope you're all having a good week so far, is'nt it nice to finally see the sun shine. I've been having another play with the stamps from the padded paws collection that is in this months docrafts goody bag. This week over on the Allsorts challenge their challenge is 'Just for men' so I thought i'd take this opportunity to make a male card as I don't make enough and as I've said before I do enjoy making them. I've some of the fab paper's from the DCWV Citrus stack, star and oval nestabilities,maya road ribbon,sentiment is also from the stamp set and ofcourse some handstitching.

ONE STOP CRAFT CHALLENGE - #70 'SEW SIMPLE'

Hi!Hope you're all enjoying your sunday?
Well how could I not enter this week's ONE STOP CRAFT CHALLENGE which is 'sew simple' when all my card's feature handstitching somewhere lol.
I was looking through my humungous paper stash(I'm a paper addict!!!lol)and came across this dcwv paper and immediately knew which image I wanted to use with it.I have a tin of coloured up images so this card was really quick to make. The sentiment is craftwork cards,I've added some PM adhesive pearls and ofcourse handstitched a border :)

TOTALLY GORJUSS GDT CARD - CHALLENGE 20 - A SKETCH!

Hi Ladies!Hope you've all had a fab week and are now enjoying a relaxing weekend?I was lucky enough to be asked to become a GDT member for the Totally Gorjuss challenge blog and ofcourse I said YES!They are a lovely bunch of ladies and have been very welcoming...Thankyou Ladies :)

So here is my first GDT card for Totally Gorjuss and this week we have a fab sketch to work with.Shall def be using this one again!

I've been dying to use the masking technique with my Gorjuss girl stamps since I got them and have never got round to it so I decided to take the opportunity to do it on my card for this week's challenge and I'm very pleased with how it turned out so watch this space as you'll be seeing more gorjuss girl duets lol.I've also used my gorgeous new MME Penny Lane paper's,a few papermania brad's, a craftwork card's sentiment and ofcourse no card of mine is complete without my Handstitching :)
